Ed Ricketts is Loreto Bay Company’s Principal Broker.  In this capacity Ed is responsible for ensuring compliance with real estate license regulatory requirements in the jurisdictions in which Loreto Bay markets its homes.  This includes supervision of Loreto Bay’s sales associates.

Ed has a long history in regulatory affairs.  Heaving served as the Arizona Deputy Commissioner of Real Estate from 1991 to 1997, Ed sometimes calls himself a “recovering regulator.”  Now in the private sector, Ed is a real estate broker regulatory consultant, real estate instructor and a consulting and testifying expert in civil litigation. His teaching includes broker prelicense, continuing education and the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics.  Before life in real estate, Ed was a lobbyist for Arizona county governments.

Ed is an active licensed real estate broker in eight jurisdictions: Arizona, Alaska, Alberta, Alabama, California, Colorado, Utah and Washington.  He holds the special designation of Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), a group of about 1,300 worldwide.  He is also a longtime REALTOR® and member of the national Real Estate Educators Association, and most recently, a full socio member of AMPI, the association of Mexico real estate professions.
