Luis Amare
Director of Architecture, Development Services

On March 12, Luis joined the Loreto Bay team as Director of Architecture. Before coming on board, Luis worked for 7 years as Project Director and Chief Designer for Pascal Arquitectos, one of Mexico City’s top Architecture and Interior Design firms, designing, directing and coordinating projects such as hotels, corporate and commercial buildings, residential developments, restaurants, libraries and custom homes, as well as doing field supervision and  construction management for many of them. Several of these projects have been published in a number of magazines in Mexico and the U.S.

Over the past 15 years, he has also worked for several other firms in Mexico and the U.S. and has designed and developed some projects of his own.  Luis has a Masters degree in Architecture from SCIArc (Southern California Institute of Architecture) in Los Angeles, an Interior Design and Planning degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and received his undergraduate degree as an architect from Universidad La Salle and attended the College of Architecture at the University of Arizona as an exchange student.

Luis is also an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys photography, mountain biking and sailing as hobbies.  He and his wife have recently moved to Loreto and are very excited to be part of the Loreto Bay adventure.
