Mark Codiroli is a native Northern Californian and lived all his life in the San Francisco Bay Area. Born in San Jose, he has lived most of his life in Livermore, his current place of residence.
Mark graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1981 with an undergraduate degree in business administration, with a triple emphasis - finance, economics and forecasting. He was a member and resident of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity there. After graduation, he joined his father and sister in their family business, a Ford-Chrysler auto dealership in Livermore. Having grown up in the auto business, Mark learned and later taught his staff about the importance of quality customer service. The dealership was quite successful, and it won numerous national awards for providing excellent customer care. After 25 years as partner and General Manager of the business, the family sold the dealership group. Mark often jokes, “When I interviewed at Loreto Bay, I’m sure I had the shortest resume of anybody with only one previous job!”
Mark has always been active in his community. He has been president of the Livermore Chamber of Commerce, President of the Livermore Valley Rotary, and Chairman of many civic committees. He has been married to his wife Denise for 20 years, and has two lovely teenage girls. They reside in a south Livermore home among the vineyards.
Interestingly, Mark has been an avid follower of, and investor in, Baja real estate, and he was a customer of Loreto Bay before joining the company in 2005. Mark’s interests include boating, swimming, traveling, and fine wines. In addition, he enjoys jogging and coaching his girls’ soccer teams.
