Genessa Epting is a native of California. Growing up in Northern California and relocating to San Diego shortly after high school graduation, she was quickly able to call San Diego home. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Grossmont College, while managing the largest Farmers Insurance agency in San Diego County.

Genessa's real estate career began while living in San Francisco. At that time she was acting as a Senior Account Executive for a commercial insurance brokerage, but soon realized that real estate was her ultimate endeavor. She took some time to learn the ropes of the real estate industry.

Soon she returned to San Diego and interviewed for a Sales Assistant position with the Loreto Bay Company. She wanted to work for a developer that was going to build a community without compromising the integrity of the land, wildlife, overall environment or the people. With Loreto Bay's “ecologically intelligent” approach to land development and their commitment to the principles of sustainability, it was clear that Loreto Bay was the perfect fit. The incredible team of professionals who were always willing to teach, help and share made it an easy transition for Genessa to move into the role of becoming a Sales Associate.

Genessa also serves as a new member of the Women's Council of Realtor's, a community of real estate professionals who are dedicated to creating business opportunities, developing skills for the future and achieving individual success.

When she's not in Loreto Bay, Genessa loves to travel. She is a big fan of the Big Apple, Seattle, San Francisco, and of course Europe (Italy comes in at the top of the list). Spending quality time with her friends and family is equally important as is community service. Genessa has always given back to her community. Whether it is volunteering at the local hospital, teaching kindergarteners how to read or remodeling an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico, Genessa has always been very passionate and devoted to helping people.

Her other interests include reading, photography, listening to music, camping, scuba diving, yoga and soon….sky diving! Genessa hopes that her love and enthusiasm for Loreto Bay, the people of Loreto and this unique community will be contagious!
