Scott Montell
Chief Counsel and Executive Vice President

As the Chief Counsel and Executive Vice President for Loreto Bay Company, Scott oversees the company's regulatory compliance in Mexico, US and Canada and serves as the liaison with FONATUR on all legal issues. Scott is also responsible for negotiating joint ventures and obtaining necessary permits and approvals for the project.

Prior to joining Loreto Bay Company, Scott practiced corporate law in Houston and New York. Most recently, he was a founding partner of Membrado & Montell, LLP, a Manhattan law firm specializing in corporate law. Scott has counseled public and private companies on a variety of matters including equity financing, securities, strategic acquisitions and mergers. Prior to that, he served as in-house counsel to SFX Entertainment, Inc., the world's largest diversified promoter, producer and venue operator for live entertainment events.

Scott is a graduate of the Fordham University College of Business and School of Law.
